This kids holding on, but I've seen kids do no-hands backflips on an express train. Pretty nuts. When in doubt about all the things in your life that aren't making sense, go shoot off two hundred rounds like a respectable Texan. If alternate side parking won't offer a helping hand create your own spot.
Maybe I should have stayed at Union Square, everyone was pushing and screaming in my ear and the cops kept screaming at me to get on the curb but their was no room.
I walked out of work on Election night just as hushed words of Obama's win were hitting the streets, everyone was sprinting, a light rain was coming down, and I decided Times Square might be my best option. Right when I arrived at Union Square for an uptown train, I saw the (I know it sounds lame to say) most patriotic thing my eyes might set upon. A bunch of kids dancing underneath a huge American flag hugging each other and screaming and crying and carrying strangers upon their shoulders. The flag stretched from the steps on 14th street almost to the curb. I don't know who's flag it was but I jumped underneath and got a couple off.
